Our Ethos & The Myth
Our name is rooted with Pyxis, a constellation named after the compass in the Greek myth, Jason & The Argonauts. In this epic tale, Pyxis is the celestial compass which guided Jason through perilous seas on his quest to find the legendary golden fleece.
The magical compass metaphor gets even better, as the constellation Pyxis contains a star system, T-Pyxidis, home to one of only six know recurrent novas in our observable universe.
A nova is when a star explodes and are some of the most energetic events in the universe. Usually they happen only once, but on a rare occasion you have one that repeats it’s cycle over and over.
We ascribe to this metaphor. At Pyxidis Studios, we cultivate and launch synergetic cutting edge technology with a pipeline of repeated star bursts.
Each project are their own nova, the result of focused development with a unique value proposition. And each synergetic with others, allowing the energy to build off the momentum in synergy, growing with it’s predecessor.

What does BUIDL Mean?
The term BUIDL, is derived from “build”, emerged within the blockchain communities to encourage development and innovation.
It is a purposeful misspelling of “build,” inspired by the term “HODL,” which originated from a typo in an online forum. While the exact origin of BUIDL is unclear, it’s used widely by industry leaders to promote active participation in the blockchain ecosystem.
